About the Author
Kevin McGowin has retired from teaching and lives as a semi-recluse in southeastern New Hampshire, working on a number of stories and three novellas in addition to his Magnum Opus, The Benny Poda Years, an unflinchingly honest account of what those years were like.
Last year McGowin recorded Love & Pity, an album of original folk songs ("Folks will doubtless be lined up to kick my ass as I give Kevin McGowin's Love & Pity the nod for best indie folk album of 2000, and I couldn't care less." - Warren Zevon), and has plans for new recordings, both solo and collaborative, in the near future.
